b-next shortlisted for Risk Management Product of the Year
b-next Group has been shortlisted for the Risk Management Awards 2010, in the category of “Risk Management Product of the Year”.
Much of our award nomination addressed our MACOC:Market Abuse application and the various scenarios which it uses for sophisticated pattern recognition across large trading flows, which will already be familiar to most of you.
Our challenge, as in many other areas of IT right now, is to sift through vast quantities of data to find what really matters to compliance officers, to risk managers, and ultimately to business managers, and to present near-time intelligence which they can use. MACOC:Market Abuse is an area where we’re particularly proud of the advances we have been making, and we are honoured that the award committee has recognised our work.
